Finely detailed silver lion head pommel connected to the "S" shaped guard by a silver chain, fluted ivory grip. The guard bears the mark of James McEver of Edinburgh Scotland. This sword published by Daniel D. Hartzler in 'Silver Mounted Swords - The Lattimer Family Collection' on page 69.

Straight blade with single narrow fuller and Scottish lobster mark on both sides.

Blade is mostly grey with areas of minor dark staining, silver hilt and ivory grip in excellent condition.

Blade length 21 3/8, length overall 26 3/4.
