Early Federal Period American Enlisted Mans Cavalry Dragoon Saber. Great form with a nice long blade.

Large, heavy iron hilt with "D"-shape guard and knuckle bow, flat pommel with "beak" and back strap over the brass wire-bound leather-covered wood grip; curved single-edge blade with false edge at the tip, blade lg. 35 1/2, overall lg. 41 1/2 in. 

Metal toned to a deep brown; area of missing leather on the right side of the grip, twisted brass wire is partially detached; blade has areas of minor surface oxidation, blade tip is blunt. More images on request.
