Cheese box style canteen retaining most of its original red paint with a painted eagle on the obverse and yellow sunburst on the reverse. The canteen overall has a 6-7/8" diameter and is 1-7/8" deep.

 Leather strap loops missing, eagle decoration shows moderate wear. PROVENANCE: Purchased from William H. Guthman.
