Super Cool Confederate Altered 1st Model Virginia Manufactory Saber Regimentally Marked to the 4th Virgina regiment. This sword is blacksmith altered to be carried on a sword waist belt. The scabbard and sword have matching numerals.
Note how the bronze ring mounts are formed around the scabbard. A very cool early Virginia sword as altered for use by the Confederates.
