French Infantry Officers Sword With Collapsible Scabbard Same as Elmer Ellsworth Sword in New York Military Museum. This one is in fantastic condition and fully functional. Production date of 1859 model date of 1855.

 I have just been informed that Colonel Fisher a North Carolina officer, was carrying this type of sword  when he was killed at the battle of first Manassas. Fort Fisher, was named after this officer.
