Confederate Thomas Griswold & Co. Cavalry Saber marked TG & Co on blade. Prime example all original and correct. Superb original leather grip with double twist wire. Classic split pommel construction often seen on New Orleans produced sabers. 

36 inch blade is free of nicks, showing original cross polishing and tool marks. The blade mark is deeply struck to one side causing the ‘T’ to be barely visible. 

 Scabbard shows quite a bit of wear to the drag, with only minor depressions here and there along its length.

Superb example of a very popular and desirable Confederate sword.
