H. Aston 1842 US Percussion Pistol.


54 caliber. 8 1/2" barrel has visible 'JH' and 'SK' inspectors marks. No visible cartouche or sub-inspectors marks on other parts. Lock is dated 1849. Brass blade front sight & walnut stock with brass fittings. Metal parts cleaned to bright with spots of light pitting mostly around bolster. Stock is sound but has a barely visible crack extending from behind lock through grip. Sound lock & dark bore with light pitting. Overall a nice presentable example.
