Confederate Foot Officer's Sword by Boyle & Gamble complete with scabbard and etched blade.
Hilt is complete with 100% copper wire and leather. Distinctive B&G pommel cap with floral decorations. Correct original top stitched scabbard complete with original mounts. Scabbard has initials JMS incised between upper mounts. 30-inch blade is etched but only partly visible.
A fine example from this maker reasonably priced.
