ID'd Southern Cross of Honor - 29th Georgia Infantry 5th Florida Cavalry of Henry Thomaas Mash. Mash resided in Thomas County, Georgia when he enlisted in "A" company of the Georgia 29th Infantry in July of 1861. On 3/5/64 he was transferred into "C" co. Fl 5th Battn Cavalry and was listed on rolls in 8/31/64.
