Confederate Boyle & Gamble Saber Bayonet Number 27. Classic Confederate saber bayonet with brass hilt and serial number 27. This bayonet would have been used with a separate muzzle ring that would allow it to fit a variety of rifles.

25 1/2 inches overall with 20 1/2 inch blade. Blade is smooth with scattered stains and pitting. Hilt has a thick green patina. Muzzle ring retains perfect shape. Spring catch is somewhat sticky but still works.
